Rent Day: a free game about cash flow
Tenants pay, the roof leaks. Read each month's ledger: is your street really making money?
What is Rent Day?
You own a little street: a house, a block of flats, a shop and a café. Each month the rent comes in, the bills go out and a Month Card hits one of them. Read the ledger and say which places made money.
Rent Day is a free money game about cash flow. You own a house, a block of flats, a shop and a café. Each month the rent comes in, the bills go out and a Month Card hits one of them.
Read each place's lines and mark it as making or losing money. Six months show how one boiler or one empty flat can wipe out a month's profit.

What it trains
- Cash flow
- Money in minus money out, month by month.
- Reading a ledger
- Spotting the line that changes the total.
Strategy and tips
- Add every line
- Rent in, loan and fees out, then the Month Card: the sign of the total is your answer.
- Place by place
- A busy street can hide one place that loses money every month.
- Expect bad months
- Repairs come in lumps. A cushion turns a bad month into a small dip.
